Primary School League Table Results

The primary school league tables, released in December 2015 by the Department for Education shows the performances for 16,000 primary schools around the country.

The schools are graded by Value Added measures which show the amount of progress each child makes throughout their school career. There are 292 schools in Gloucestershire and Severn View Primary has come 13th. Within the school's catchment area this school has come first.

Mrs Marie Harris,  our assistant principal at Severn View commented: "We are really thrilled, with the hard work put in by the children and the teachers.

"A significant number of the children who come in are making three levels of progress, which is very pleasing."

National Award Winning Severn View Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club has recently won the National Kellogg's Breakfast Club Award for Community Involvement. We are incredibly proud to win this national award which comes with a £1500 cash prize, toys, uniform and breakfast cereal donated by Kellogg's. Representatives from the school attended a ceremony at the House of Commons and were featured in Stroud News and Journal.
Our Breakfast Club sources fair trade food from a local farm shop and butchers and cooks fresh food from scratch in our on site kitchen giving all our children who attend a fabulous start to the day.
